What are they, why are they different?
· Not just a stencil to draw around to create the same image each time.
· Each stencil includes a set of shapes that are used to create an image by following the written and visual instructions.
· This means that every time the image is drawn it will be different and whilst the stencil and instructions are copyright whatever is drawn is not as it has been ‘created by the customer/end user.
· This helps the customer to build skills, self esteem and confidence as well as enjoyment of creating something themselves.
· It can also be used by children to help build their art skills and be incorporated in their school work.
· The stencils can be used alongside other crafts that the customer already does – soft crafts and woodwork included, you can draw and tangle onto virtually anything.
How to use the stencils:
· Number the shapes on the stencil according to the instructions
· Follow the steps using the shapes when indicated to create your version of the image.
· Add colour or shade, mix it with dies, stamps etc to make into a card or piece of art etc
Some stencils in the range:
· Dragons, flowers, keys and clocks, wishing well, through the keyhole, dotty mandalas, poison bottles, yin yang, stags, written in the stars, butterflies to name a few.
